Called asking about booking our dog into being seen, didn’t seem bothered at all just said not taking anymore booking which I understand just not very compassionate or caring or helpful to be honest.

I visited this vet twice .. I was charged for both consultations 5 mins long and they still didn’t deal with my dogs problem .. I paid for meds which they charged a lot for and brought her back they still couldn’t deal with her as they told me she wasn’t sedated enough.. after leaving in half an hour my pet fell fast asleep . They advise me to give her meds two hours before . I wasted my time going at all .. while I am in receipt of sick pay and not working I asked for some money back and they refused . Stay clear of this vets awful .

It's been months, perhaps years, since I've seen any sign of this branch in operation. I understand that they no longer have enough staff to operate both this branch and the one in Great Ashby, so they're only working in the latter now.

Appalling vets and staff. Terrible, inconclusive tests leading to horrifically bad advice, and extortionate prices. On top of this, a visit many months later because of their ineptitude, results in a quote for over £1000 for a few tests alone, not including treatment! This will result in death. Cremation is over £300. MediVet 6 years ago came to my home personally, administered a lethal injection, took my friend away and cremated him for less than £200. But, that's the market I guess. These people (at Roebuck) are soulless con merchants and cash-grabbers, with not a single nugget of decency for animal life. They prey on the psychological compromise of humans and extort money from helpless people. Some of you may need to seek a new profession... I really hope I don't have to see any of you again in person.

Avoid if you live in South Stevenage. This practice used to be good and I chose it as I wanted a vet near home, for my cat, to reduce travel time if my cat needed treatment. I’ve never had any issue with the vets, clinically, but have never found the place to be cat-friendly, being made to wait in a waiting room with dogs, and long past my appointment time. Now, ROEBUCK Veterinary Group has no vets in Roebuck! It’s a ridiculous situation, forcing me to stress my cat out, taking her to Great Ashby, the complete opposite end of Stevenage to where I live, when the practice calls itself Roebuck Veterinary Group. They claim a lack of vets, but surely they could split their time and provide a service out of Roebuck one or two days a week for the sake of their paying customers and their pets.
