First visit was excellent. Clean and tidy in all areas I saw. Staff very friendly. Cosy explained during consultation. Vet asked me if treatment plan was acceptable, did nothing without me agreeing. Totally transparent in everything suggested.

My dog cobra had some tests done at this vet’s. Very friendly welcoming staff. My dog had to spend most of the day there so very reassuring to know she was in good hands and looked after.

The reception team are amazing, so welcoming and friendly. But the Nurses have been brilliant both have made what has been a very stressful experience with a very boisterous male french bulldog a distant memory, they went above and beyond to make sure my beautiful boy got what he needed done and made sure he was in no way stressed or worried he loves seeing them both which for him is progress. Thank you very much.

This vet practice has gone above and beyond for us and our beloved dog, they've been really helpful throughout the whole process, reassuring us when we were very stressed. All the nurses, vet and receptionists have been so lovely and helpful, helping us understanding what is going on and always putting our minds at ease when we had questions and concerns. Amazing communication with us throughout it all, and even with the ongoing vet appointments, explaining everything really well when we struggled to understand what was happening. I can't thank you all enough for everything you have done, Pepper absolutely adores all of you and always goes in happy and tail wagging and it's so reassuring after having bad experiences elsewhere. 🩷

I have been with this vets for over 30 years. As you can imagine I’ve had a number of dogs. I recently got a new puppy, after the death of my springer. I have never considered moving vets. All the staff are friendly, supportive and professional. I can honestly say, I would 100% recommend them.

Don't risk your pets life by going to this vet. They killed my Snowball. I got my rabbit Snowball spayed here. She died due to the negligence of the vet. She was having trouble eating and drinking and pooping. She was not cleaning herself. This is dangerous for the rabbit. I took her every single day for a week. They just kept telling me that I needed to keep force feeding her and that eventually it would get better. Now that I've seen a better vet I know this is not the case. A vet shouldn't send a rabbit home who is in such a bad condition that they aren't even able to groom themselves. This is the same male vet who spent my first health check telling me why he believes people shouldn't keep rabbits and how they are too fragile. If you have a dog or cat maybe this vet is fine. If you have a small animal I beg you find another vet. They should have advised me to take her straight to the animal hospital for emergency care since she wasn't showing any signs of improvement after the 2nd post operation visit. They made me pay upfront for an emergency Sunday appointment telling me she would be fine. I rushed her to the hospital Saturday night seeing that nothing was improving. Bare in mind I saw them that same morning and I was trying to listen to them. He told me there was nothing more we could do for Snowball. He was wrong. After some research and a discussion with the emergency team at the animal hospital I found out that she could have had her gut pumped and fluids in a drip. This vet at bishops rise told me all we could do is give her syringe feed and pain killers. Vets for pets in Hatfield pets at home is much better with rabbits so if you need any treatment at all with your rabbit go there instead. They are also reasonably cheaper for MUCH better care. They have shown much more experience and care for my remaining rabbits in a month than bishops vet did for 2 years. (My oldest rabbit is 2 years old) There is also a couple places in Potters bar and St Albans. Just ask about their small pet specialist and if they don't have one they will refer you to a vet that does have a small animal or exotic pet specialist I've attached few photos of Snowball across her life as a token to remember her by. Rest peace my little girl xx
