Hope Vets is a highly regarded veterinary clinic located in Hemel Hempstead, achieving an impressive 4.9-star rating from 187 reviews, indicating a high level of satisfaction among its clientele. The clinic is noted for its friendly, knowledgeable, and patient staff, as highlighted by Paul Tuohy's recent positive review. The clinic also serves as a veterinary nurse training facility and offers emergency veterinary services, ensuring comprehensive care for pets in various situations.
Customer reviews frequently commend the compassionate and professional care provided by the team at Hope Vets. Off the beaten track on a slip road just behind EH Smith builders - friendly, patient and knowledgeable staff

Lizzie, who is a nurse here, is a negligent and disgraceful person who is not fit to be around animals let alone work with them and be responsible for their wellbeing. I strongly recommend avoiding this veterinary nurse at all costs. This incident could have ended with broken bones, spinal injuries and possibly worse. Lizzie did not come to check on my dog who had just yelped in pain and offered no apology.

I would 100% recommend Hope Vets. They were all so kind and caring with our dolly and we always felt comfortable bringing her here as we knew she would be looked after. Even though we didn’t have many visits to the vets, they still remembered dolly and we trusted them 100%. They never pushed us to have unnecessary treatments and were always honest with us. When having to put dolly to sleep, Chantelle was so patient, caring and compassionate and made a very difficult situation that little bit easier. We really appreciate her kindness which we will never forget.

Friendly and caring vets. Make you feel confident in the care provided and don't push treatments and tests that are not necessary as happened with our previous vet. Very happy with them.

Took our new puppy there after bringing him home at 8 weeks. Every interaction I have had with Hope Vets has been excellent. As a first time dog owner, the team at Hope Vets have been so helpful, and provided reassurance and guidance when needed. No question is too silly or unimportant to them. I can't underline how nice it is to be dealing with such people. Our pup is very young and was invited to Hope Vets free puppy socialisation classes. The format of the classes is quite informal, which makes for a nice and chilled atmosphere. Three sessions are provided, taking between 30-60 mins depending on the energy levels of the pups. This was an excellent opportunity to help our puppy get used to meeting other dogs in a safe environment. Gentle encouragement, toys and even some yummy treats were provided. It was also an opportunity to meet with owner puppy owners to exchange stories and advice. Quick shout out to Lizzy who was running the classes, we found them very useful! I cannot fault the facilities or services provided. Aside from the socialisation classes, our pup's first check up was also stress free and informative. On site you can find ample parking. Inside, it's also possible to browse a small selection of Kong toys, lickimats, and pet food. Prices are all reasonable.
