Oak Vets

Although we’ve been really pleased with another local vet, we decided to get a second opinion after being recommended by a lady who has used this practice (and the veterinary surgeon) for years. Seen the same day by a vet who could see that my dog’s anxiety and night time waking was not only causing him distress but us too. Prescribed medication, and very close follow up - we are delighted with the outcome and now have a much happier dog. Thank you also to the staff, who are all kind and knowledgeable. Brilliant service!

I lost my beloved cockerpoo in July and they were so kind and reassuring. We have now had our German Shepherd spayed and my new cockerpoo castrated and I wouldn't go anywhere else now. Thoroughly recommend them.

What a pleasure it is to find a vet whose main aim is to care for your pet and not to make money out of you. I have three dogs and Sanjay and his colleagues provide a 5 star service to all of them. They all clearly love animals and never try to rip you off. Having previously used Medivet and been fleeced on several occasions I am delighted with Oaks. Thoroughly recommended.

First visit to do a hip/elbow test. Couldn’t believe how much cheaper than my own vet practice! Shockingly cheaper in fact, for which we were so grateful as we are mostly retired. Martine (receptionist) was so very kind and patient and Sanjay was warm and welcoming. The other vet Tom, took time to settle Caleb and explain the procedure to us. The Practice was bright, roomy and squeaky clean and there was parking at the back. My only regret is that our Labrador’s first experience involved a long stay and anaesthetic (all needed for the x-rays). I hope he doesn’t remember this. Thanks Oak Vet. I really hope you stay private and independent.

Amazing place! We've adopted a dog recently. We chose this practice because of all of the great reviews and we are not disappointed!!! From the first visit, that was booked last minute to help our rescue with her serious skin problems, to the latest checkups, the staff and vets were lovely, helpful and very friendly! The reception team is super knowledgeable and when we had to leave our dog for some IV fluids for a day, we were kept up to date with how she was doing. Much appreciated!!! Highly recommend if you're looking for a supportive and kind vet for your beloved pet!

I Brought my Bowie in yesterday off the recommendation of a friend. I couldn’t have wished for anymore of an amazing service from this vets. Sanjay spent good time with Bowie did a thorough check over him to find what the problem was, and gave us the best advice and options. I highly recommend this vet’s and nurse and receptionist was so lovely and caring. Very professional practice. Thank you 🙏🏻

We couldn't be more happy with the service, speed and care that the team took with us on Friday. We'd been scared into the worst by our local vet and then sent an invoice for £2100 - on a recommendation from a friend we visited the team, who quoted a very small fraction of the price! The care and love and time they took to talk us through everything was priceless. So happy to have found them :)

I can’t thank these vets more than enough what they have done to my cat amazing work from the receptionist to the doctors and vets very friendly people than other vets. Very easy to communicate to get appointments.My vets used to be medi vets but unfortunately I chosen OAK VETS very affordable. I took my cat for a check up for her teeth I booked in her for 4 days after for the surgery, everything went so well and she is recovering well as well. Very very good owners they even called me today to see how my cat is doing. I have no words for this vet. Just amazing experience overall
